Experience

Kimmie Fink is an educator, writer, and editor with a passion for all things kid-related. She spent 13 years as a classroom teacher before moving into writing full-time. She's been at WeAreTeachers since 2020 and continues to serve as a National Certified Facilitator for Welcoming Schools, a project of the Human Rights Campaign. Kimmie is a proud military spouse and mom of two.

Education

Kimmie received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish in 2002 from Whitworth University. She earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education in 2014.
